I arrived at Chipstead ward reception at 09-36,I told the receptionist my name CLEARLY & my D O B. & that I had a appointment with Mr momin @ 09-45,I was asked to sit & wait,I did until approximately 10-30 when Mr Momin came to collect me. While in the consulting room Mr Momin told me that he went to the reception desk at about 10-00 & asked if Mr James was here, he was told NO. The reception did not give me the respect I felt I deserved. Having said the above I would to say Mr Momin treated with great respect & apologised for the behaviour of the reception desk. Furthermore Mr Momin examined me, & he asked me how I was feeling & then went on to discuss my medication. I am immensely grateful to Mr Momin for examining me.

The General Surgery/Colorectal team during an inpatient stay misinformed on numerous occasions resulting in complications and mistrust. Information was not forthcoming, communication poor. The nursing staff on the whole great with a few uncaring exceptions.

I was operated on for multiple cataracts by Mr Minas Georgopoulos in Limpsfield Eye Unit at East Surrey Hospital. I was very impressed by all of the staff and care provided. Many thanks to all of the staff for their care and attention and the professionalism of Mr Georgopoulos.

I was very disappointed with my visit. I came with my abdominal pain to get help as I was in horrible pain and my pills didn't work. They told me if I have this problem for long I need to go to my GP and they are not able to do any treatment or ultrasound to help. The doctor told me to carry on with the pill with very bad attitude . Also, he told me to go private if I don't want to wait for gp. It is unacceptable as I am paying my taxes and working hard . Also when I checked the receptionist had a very unprofessional comment about my surname as she could find it. She said that sometimes the system can find weird surnames. This is a very rude comment. Is very bad as I was left in pain over the weekend and just need to wait until Monday and hope gp will have time to see me. If you have option don't go to this E&A.

The efficiency of the Opthalmology department during these difficult times has to be respected. All treatments and follow ups have been efficiently executed. In the last three months all the staff have ensured I have been attended to in a very reasonable time. Can definitely recommend the Eye Clinic

I am 37 weeks pregnant. My experience with the maternity services has been shocking. I had to have a growth scan yesterday and the lady was so rude it took me completely by surprise! I was anxious having to attend alone due to Covid-19. When I tried to ask about what was on the scan or whether I could record the heartbeat for my husband I was bluntly told NO. In answer to any questions I got some sarcastic remarks and was told to talk to my midwife instead- I was trying to make conversation to ease some anxiety. I also do not even see a midwife now until after my due date because of Covid. I told her this and she came back quite argumentatively. I just wanted to get out of there. She made me feel embarrassed to be asking questions about my baby and made me feel stupid. I am so upset. This is my first baby and they have completely ruined my experience with a total lack of kindness and empathy. I dread attending for the birth.

#sayThankYou

Seen within 10 mins in A&E and given excellent care by nurses and doctors. good communication and swift treatment. admitted to a surgical admissions unit within 2 hours. Then as my condition was not improving moved to Buckland Ward. care there was generally excellent. My only improvement would be to give patients the results of their tests. I often asked and people said they would check but did not come back. The kitchen staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for me, bring drink I liked and biscuits for my tea! Zoe, nurse was also excellent
